This film is a must. It is in Mandarin and you will have to read the subtitles, but do not let this deny you the pleasure of this great movie - The Banquet.
It is set deep in ancient China, but follows the line of Shakesphere's Hamlet. Again, like Hero, this is a dazzeling production with splendid camera work. Everything is done with poise and is elegant. A real feast on the eye as this wonderful tale is presented to the watcher.
