German Leopard Tank (The Daddy of all Tanks)

The German leopard tank is an absolute beast of modern conventional warfare. It must cost a fortune to make one with all its state of the art technology. If one such tank is taken out in warfare by some remote hand held guided missile system, would it be too expensive to produce in a modern day war where two advanced powers were fighting one another?
It's just a thought. Perhaps the tank has many types of counter measures for it is a superb machine. I can't help thinking, however - if an advanced enemy was up against such a monster, could it not be taken out by a cheaply produced devise? If so, how quickly and costly would it be to replace such equipment?

BUSINESS - Germany says will sell 164 tanks to Indonesia
